Multi Port Fuel Injection

This system was built by custom efis. When I originally ordered it I was told
7 weeks for gm tbi unit. After several months of delays I was told they had a
multiport system that was all ready to go. The price was right so I grabbed it.
I wanted a multiport system to begin with but didn't want to pay $2500 for the
mopar kit. The custom efi's kit uses the mopar 4.0 intake and throttle body
combined with gm sensors and computer. The stock 4.0 airbox wasn't going to fit
easily under the hood so I grabbed a cheap intake off ebay and the air tube from
a junkyard. To make the intake fit I had to switch to hydroboost
brakes. I'm currently working with John from custom efi's on tuning the chip
for my engine. The kit came with a chip burner so I can can make my own chips
with his help. A laptop computer is connected to the ECU with an aldl cable. The
information is then emailed to custom efi's to be analyzed. The new chip info is
then emailed back to me and then burned to the chip. This process should take a
few times before its right. This was the only kit on the market that offers
custom chip tuning. I would not recommend dealing with custom efis. Not
only did it take way too long to get the kit but his customer service is
horrible. I had to find another company online to tune the chip properly.
It now runs much better than it did no thanks to custom efis.
